About

I’m a 34 year old web and graphic designer, originally from Glasgow, but now living in Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Then

I was born in Glasgow, and after moving around the UK and Europe, courtesy of HM Armed Forces, I eventually found myself at Dundee University, studying Psychology and Philosophy. After 5 years of trying, I moved back to North Yorkshire and settled in Ripon with my then-girlfriend (now wife). Several careers, and 2 children later, I eventually learned enough about web and graphic design to take the plunge and become a freelance web designer.

Now

I freelanced for 2 years but decided I needed to get back into an office environment so I now work for a company based in Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire (Premier Design and Print) where I am in-house designer for both print and web media.
